After the Golden Warrior S8, Lenovo should persevere in smartphones bling with the Golden Warrior A8. An economic model that retains the golden shell, is lowering some components, but provides a 4G connection.
There is a month and a half, we mentioned in our columns Golden Warrior S8, a mid-range smartphone with a octo-core chipset from MediaTek, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 5.3-inch 720p HD display, a 13 megapixel camera sensor and a beautiful golden shell particularly flashy and ostentatious. All for about $ 200 (150 euros), a fairly low price considering the technical platform. Only real problem with this smartphone: no 4G. To remedy this, Lenovo unveils Golden Warrior A8, information reported by the Chinese portal CNMO.com.
The Golden Warrior A8 takes almost the entire datasheet S8, while adapting. Firstly, the screen, IPS, down to 5 inches (0.3 inches lower) for a definition still attached to 720p (ie a resolution of 294 dots per inch). To animate, mobile relies on the octo-core chipset MediaTek MT6592 MT6290 modem accompanied by making compatible mobile LTE Category 4. To support this configuration, the A8 is still based on 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage.
Picture side, second golden Warrior retains CMOS sensor of its predecessor, is a retro illuminated APN 13 megapixel rear (1080p compatible video) and a 5-megapixel webcam on the front. All runs Android 4.4 KitKat (like what, MediaTek is the latest OS Google turn ...).
Weighing 160 grams, the smartphone keeps its side of course bling. Available in white and black on the front, the A8 also offers an optional rear seat faux leather worthy of the Samsung Galaxy Note for 3. Colours are rather conventional, besides a sweet pink itchy eyes a little but will suit all users who want to impress. It is sold by the China Unicom operator at a price of 898 yuan, 126 Dolar. This is a value unknown to us. And it should also remain as the Golden Warrior is not expected in USA.
