Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Unveiled
Samsung has released two big things in the first day of this year's IFA. Galaxy Note 4 and a Galaxy Note Edge with 5.6" curved screen. We have seen a prototype showing this idea in early 2013. There was no any expectations before the start of IFA about the announcement of this kind of unique device. This is in fact an astonishing invention in mobile phone industry.
This curved screen, first of all, gives you a chance to enhance battery life. As you can see notifications in lock screen mood on the right edge without turning on the whole screen. Second advantage is it is now more easy to view live social updates on this edge of the phone. Third exciting thing about this device is that you have now more easy and effective control on your device with additional buttons right below your thumb. You can also use this edge for move from one app into another as it makes multitasking more facilitated.
While using camera or video recorder, it put all the relative controls on curved side to free more space as viewfinder. It has 16MP OIS camera.
It can also b called a true phablet by dint of its large screen and a functional stylus is also reside inside its body to assist you anywhere.
It has 2.7 Ghz Quad-Core Qualcomm's processor and it runs on Android 4.4 kitkat. Samsung home baked touch-Wiz is also there on the Android platform to enhance your experience and usability. Its battery is of 3,000 mAh.
