Samsung patent hints S-Pen stylus support for Phones other than Galaxy Note devices

Many of people dreams a personal Galaxy Note phone in their hands. Some of them have also tried a Galaxy S-pen with their non-note Samsung devices to have an experience of note phone. We have bring you a good news here that Samsung has officially made register a patent from which the company has a plan to design a phone case with a slot for S-pen. Through this patent of Samsung, the company will allegedly bring S Pen stylus to the masses. No doubt, Samsung?s S-Pen is one of the best styluses in this era of technology, but it only comes with a few high-end Galaxy Note devices. A recently registered patent suggests that the company could bring its digital pen to more devices with a specially designed smartphone case.

The mentioned patent, which has been published in Korea, hints at a phone case with a specific space for a stylus. Based on the cutouts, which include space for a physical home button, it looks like this case was designed for other Galaxy devices. However, it is possible Samsung could offer a similar accessory for other Android devices or even an iPhone.

Of course, adding S Pen support is not as simple as attaching a stylus slot. Samsung?s Note series includes extra hardware built into the display, along with special software designed to take advantage of the technology. So even if the S Pen could work with another phone it probably wouldn?t be as good of an experience.

There?s also no guarantee this patent will ever become an actual product. For now it?s just an idea thought up by someone at Samsung, but we?re curious to see if the company could actually make this concept a reality. It will really be a charm for masses if this idea comes true but it will obviously affect the sale of high-end Galaxy Note devices.
