Archos 50b and 45c Platinum now available from 99 Dollars!

Archos has announced two new phones coming out in its Platinum Android 4.4.2 KitKat: 50b, a 5-inch smartphone and 45c with a 4.5-inch screen to the respective prices of 99 and 129 Dollar. In the ocean of manufacturers of smartphones Frenchy the thinking of those who are often overlooked by major brands: users with tight budgets.

With two new low-cost phones, Archos target those who might move towards Chinese smartphones and extends slightly more radiation from Android. What are they worth these smartphones for less? In truth, for that price you could expect much worse even if the features are basic. However, the big downside is the lack of 4G, both models are limited to 3G+ connectivity.

For common features, nothing extraordinary, but at this price what more natural? Both models feature a quad-core processor MediaTek MT6582 1.3 GHz, a graphics chip Mali 400MP2 and 512MB of RAM is not much, and a storage capacity of 4 GB expandable with SD card up to 64GB.

The model 45c is equipped with a 4.5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. Optical side, it has a 5 megapixel camera and a sensor on the front of 2 megapixels. Finally, it is equipped with a battery of 1,700 mAh.

Regarding 50b model, it is also equipped with an IPS screen but 5 inch qHD resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. It's better at the optical sensor with a backpack 8 megapixels with autofocus and LED flash.

Both models are already now available for sale on the Archos website and at the usual retailers. They are available in three colors: black, blue and pink. The 45c Platinum is announced at 99 $ and 129 $ 50b Platinum.
